We strongly encourage you to take full advantage of these resources both during the summer and during the academic year.
Academic Study Areas
Specific rooms are set aside for individual and group study in the residence hall. These areas are designated as study areas and your cooperation is expected to preserve a quality working area by keeping your voice low and maintaining a clean and neat area. If you wish to listen to music while you study, you must use headphones in these areas.
Individual and Group Tutoring
We know from our interactions and discussions with students that different disciplines require specialized study strategies. Support for your classes will depend on the course content and the availability of qualified tutors. We will make every effort to accommodate your need for academic assistance; however, during the summer many students leave the area and we may not be able to enlist a qualified tutor. In the event we cannot find a qualified individual we will assist you in working with your professor for additional support.
